Like many small businesses, Z Texas Real Estate thrives on relationships and a passion. Originally, our company’s Real Estate desires came out of a need for “fun” and a passion we shared in learning about Real Estate and the processes of buying and selling our own homes. In 2001, I decided to obtain a Real Estate license. At that time the market was strong and I started in the Land and Ranch Sales industry. I sold many small and large ranches and started building those relationships necessary to allow the company to grow. After a few years selling ranches, I decided to obtain my Texas Real Estate Broker’s License and begin to work in the residential market. At that point, we jumped head first into selling distressed properties and marketing REOs from banks (foreclosures). At the time this was not a “popular” environment to be in with Real Estate. However, over the last several years a lot of has changed in the Real Estate market. These days it seems every agent wants REOs and Bank owned homes. We have become specialized in marketing them, managing them, and selling them.
